The Pedagogy for Higher Education Large Classes (PHELC) Symposium provides a platform for those working with large classes in higher education to share research and practice. The purpose of this symposium is to move the emphasis away from the contested term ‘large’ class to focus instead on the nature of teaching, learning and assessment in this context regardless of what is perceived as ‘large’.
Full details about PHELC, including presentations and papers from previous symposia are available at www.phelc.ie
The 7th PHELC Symposium will take place on Friday 12 June between 11am and 3pm.
The programme outlines the diversity and range of presentations.
