“A Joint Employer/Trade Union Declaration Supporting Early Career Researchers in Higher Education in Europe has been adopted by the European Sectoral Social Dialogue in Education on 19 January 2015. A copy of the Declaration is reproduced below.

 
IFUT is very proud of the fact that it was the union which first proposed prioritisation of work in this area at a meeting of ETUCE (the European Region of Education International) some years ago. Since then we have been actively involved in the process which culminated in the adoption of the Declaration by both Europe’s Trade Unions and Education Employers.”
