On June 13thDarren Fayne and Hugh Gibbons of IFUT TCD Branch hosted delegates from the Norwegian Association of Researchers at Østfold University College (NAR https://www.forskerforbundet.no/english/this-is-nar/) at Trinity for their first visit to Ireland. NAR represent approximately 24,000 staff across Norwegian HEIs. Joan Donegan (IFUT General Secretary), Aidan Seery (outgoing IFUT President) and Angela Flynn (IFUT President) met with the delegates to share mutually beneficial learnings. NAR accept all members holding a degree and represent staff ranging from Masters students to PhD candidates to Professorial staff. Andrew Loxley met the delegates on the second day of their visit to discuss research on education.
