IFUT Members Reject Croke Park 2 Proposal

 

IFUT rejects Croke Park by 3-to-1 margin

Members of the Irish Federation of University Teachers (IFUT) today rejected the revised Croke Park Agreement proposals by a margin of three to one.  A total of 704 members voted against the proposals with 235 voting in favour.
 
IFUT will cast its 20 votes against the proposals at the Public Sector Committee meeting on Wednesday.
 
IFUT General secretary, Mike Jennings, said that, following this decisive vote, he will now be consulting the IFUT Executive, to decide on the union’s further approach and action on the issue.
