New Website launched
IFUT are pleased to announce that our new Website has been launched and is currently being populated with information. The new Website is partially implemented using Wordpress, an award-winning, state-of-the-art platform for designing and creating Websites and blogs. As well as continuing to have up-to-date resources and comment on items and events of interest to members, the new site will have blogs, or “weblogs”, allowing us to update information easily and frequently, and communicate more effectively with our members. It will also allow us to get feedback more quickly, and so enhance the interactive nature of the site and increase members’ involvement with the organisation. As you will have noticed, the site is fairly sparsely populated. We are currently transferring across parts of our old site and integrating these into the new site. This necessarily takes some time. However, our goal is to have an information-rich, up-to-date Website that will, in time, become a reference point for all those interested in the terms and conditions of employment of staff working in third-level education institutions in Ireland.
