IFUT signs agreement with University and College Union
IFUT has signed an agreement with the University and College Union (UCU), which means that IFUT members working in the UK (including Northern Ireland) will have the full benefit and protection of UCU membership.

This agreement will be of interest to all members, especially those who may be contemplating accepting temporary assignments in the UK.
We are very hopeful that in a short time we will reach similar agreements with Higher Education unions in Australia and Canada and we are also exploring contacts in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany and New Zealand to the same end.
This agreement is one more indicator that IFUT is the specialist union representing academics and researchers and related grades and we are uniquely equipped to represent the needs of such post holders.
