IFUT votes in favour of Public Service Agreement

The Irish Federation of University Teachers (IFUT) has voted to accept the Public Service (Landsdowne Road) Agreement.

 

The result of a ballot of IFUT members, counted today, was 310 in favour and 132 against, representing a 70% ‘Yes’ vote.

 

IFUT Deputy General Secretary, Joan Donegan, said that IFUT will now cast its vote in favour of the Public Service Agreement, at a meeting of public sector unions scheduled for Wednesday of this week.
